We are seeking an experienced Pre-Litigation Paralegal to join our legal team. This role focuses on managing complex cases involving RCA (Regulatory Compliance Agreements) and credit issues, working closely with attorneys to prepare cases for potential litigation. The paralegal will be responsible for conducting thorough legal research, organizing case documentation, managing discovery processes, and ensuring all pre-litigation procedures are executed with precision and attention to detail. This position requires a proactive professional who can navigate intricate credit law frameworks and regulatory requirements while maintaining organized case files and timelines. The ideal candidate will serve as a critical link between clients, attorneys, and external parties, ensuring seamless communication and comprehensive case preparation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive legal research on RCA regulations, credit law, and relevant case precedents to support attorney strategy and case positioning
- Prepare and organize case documentation, including pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and responses with meticulous attention to accuracy and compliance
- Manage discovery processes by coordinating document collection, reviewing materials for privilege and relevance, and maintaining organized discovery databases
- Draft correspondence, memoranda, and legal documents under attorney supervision to advance case objectives and maintain client communication
- Maintain detailed case timelines, calendars, and deadline tracking systems to ensure all pre-litigation deadlines and procedural requirements are met
- Coordinate with clients and external parties to gather evidence, obtain statements, and collect necessary information for case development
- Review and analyze credit reports, regulatory filings, and financial documentation relevant to case claims and defenses
- Prepare case summaries, fact sheets, and litigation support materials to assist attorneys in trial preparation and settlement negotiations
- Maintain confidentiality and comply with all ethical obligations, attorney-client privilege requirements, and applicable legal standards

Experience & Expertise Required:
- Minimum 3–5 years of paralegal experience with demonstrated focus on pre-litigation case handling
- Proven expertise in RCA (Regulatory Compliance Agreements) and credit-related legal matters
- Strong knowledge of discovery procedures, document management, and litigation support processes
- Proficiency in legal research methodologies and familiarity with legal research platforms
- Experience preparing legal documents, pleadings, and correspondence under attorney direction
- Understanding of credit law, regulatory compliance requirements, and relevant case law
- Demonstrated ability to manage case timelines, deadlines, and procedural requirements
