Fire and Security Systems Engineer

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out installation, maintenance, servicing, and reactive works across a variety of commercial premises. You will work on both standalone and integrated systems, ensuring all work is completed to industry standards and client expectations. Key Responsibilities

  • Installation, servicing, maintenance, and fault-finding of fire and security systems
  • Working on CCTV, access control, intruder alarms, fire alarms, and related systems
  • Carrying out testing and commissioning works
  • Ensuring all systems comply with current industry regulations and standards
  • Completing accurate service reports and documentation
  • Providing professional customer service on client sites
  • Supporting both planned preventative maintenance and reactive call-outs

Ideal Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will bring substantial experience in the fire and security industry, combined with a strong technical foundation and a commitment to professional excellence. You should be a self-motivated professional who thrives in varied working environments and takes pride in delivering high-quality workmanship.

Essential Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum 5 years' experience within the fire and security industry
  • ECS Card
  • IPAF certification
  • FIA Level 3 qualification
  • Strong knowledge of commercial fire alarm and security systems
  • Full UK driving licence

Compensation and Benefits

  • Salary: £40,000 – £44,000 per annum
