Job Title: Project Manager

Salary: £55,000–£60,000 per annum

About the Role

This role puts you at the centre of high-quality residential builds — from refurbishments and extensions through to full new builds across London and the Home Counties. You’ll take ownership of project programmes, budgets, stakeholder communication and contractor coordination. Your insight, organisation and on-the-ground decisiveness will set the tone for each scheme’s success. You’ll work closely with site managers and design partners to make sure the client’s vision becomes reality, on time and with attention to detail that speaks for itself.

Our client is a well-established main contractor known for delivering carefully chosen residential projects in London and the surrounding counties. With over 20 years’ experience in the industry, they’ve built trust with private clients, architects and specialist subcontractors alike. Their projects range from substantial refurbishments and basement builds to bespoke new homes, with a strong emphasis on clear communication, technical precision and building enduring client relationships.

Working Hours

  • Monday to Friday
  • 08:00–17:00

Key Duties

  • Visit all sites in your portfolio on a regular basis
  • Track profitability and programme on all schemes
  • Ensure all sites are ran correctly, tidy, organised and H&S compliant
  • Assisting technical aspects of schemes between architects, interior designers, engineers and contractors
  • Set up project timeline schedules (must have programme experience) and update week-by-week
  • Weekly client and project team meetings
  • Prepare weekly plans and submit weekly reports to senior team
  • Managing sub-contractor relationships
  • CDM awareness and strict site implementation


Key Requirements

  •  Proven experience managing residential construction projects. (£200k-£1m)
  •  Strong technical understanding of construction processes.
  •  Excellent organisation and communication skills.
  • Able to interpret designs, programmes and budgets with confidence.
  • A hands-on leader who thrives in dynamic project environments
  • Must be very proficient on EXCEL (do not apply without this)
  • Full driving licence and own car/transport
  • Should be a team player and process driven
