Senior Manager – Finance

About the Role
We are currently supporting a leading financial institution in Dubai in the appointment of a Senior Manager – Finance.
The successful candidate will oversee key areas of the Finance function and contribute to the effective management of financial reporting, accounting, budgeting, treasury and financial controls within a regulated financial services environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead budgeting and financial planning activities.
- Oversee the treasury function and monthly cash flow forecasting.
- Manage fixed deposit placements and related treasury activities.
- Oversee financial accounting and the maintenance of accurate financial records.
- Manage financial reporting and management reporting requirements.
- Coordinate and manage internal and external audits.
- Oversee payroll-related Finance activities.
- Monitor Finance-related ERP systems and processes.
- Prepare and review financial reports for senior management.
- Support the effective operation and continuous improvement of the Finance function.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or a related discipline.
- Financial qualification such as CFA, CPA, CA or equivalent.
- 10+ years of relevant professional experience in Finance.
- Strong background in financial accounting, reporting, budgeting and financial control.
- Experience within financial services, banking or a regulated environment is preferred.
- Strong understanding of financial reporting and accounting principles.
- Previous experience managing or supervising Finance teams.
- Strong analytical, organisational and communication skills.
- UAE-based candidates only.
