Job Description

In this role, you serve as a strategic profit advisor to our clients, working closely with entrepreneurs and business leaders to identify opportunities for financial optimization and sustainable growth. You combine deep accounting expertise with business acumen to provide advisory services that directly impact profitability. Your day-to-day responsibilities include managing client files, overseeing their follow-up, coaching accounting team members to develop their professional skills, and proactively communicating progress to partners. You operate in a dynamic, digital-first environment where you take initiative, solve complex problems, and drive results with enthusiasm and entrepreneurial thinking.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a trusted profit advisor to clients, brainstorming strategies and providing recommendations to optimize financial performance and business outcomes
  • Manage multiple client files and oversee their follow-up, ensuring timely delivery and quality of work
  • Coach and mentor accounting team members constructively, supporting their professional growth and development in their accounting roles
  • Proactively communicate progress, updates, and insights regarding client files, team projects, and business initiatives to partners
  • Serve as a sparring partner for entrepreneurs, offering strategic financial guidance and challenging assumptions to drive better decision-making
  • Lead team support efforts, delegating tasks effectively and ensuring collaborative delivery of accounting services
  • Leverage digital tools and systems to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and client service delivery
  • Identify and pursue opportunities to improve processes, profitability, and client satisfaction

Candidate Profile

We are looking for an experienced accounting professional with a strategic mindset, strong leadership capabilities, and a genuine passion for helping others succeed. You should bring a proven track record in advisory or accounting roles, preferably in small to medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), combined with the drive to go the extra mile and embrace digital innovation. Your natural coaching abilities, entrepreneurial spirit, and can-do mentality will enable you to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment where you take ownership of results and inspire your team.

Experience & Expertise Required:

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in accounting, advisory, or a similar professional role, ideally within an SME environment
  • Professional certifications such as IAB, BIBF, or ITAA
  • Proven experience in client advisory, financial analysis, and business strategy
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple files and projects simultaneously
  • Experience coaching, mentoring, or developing accounting professionals
  • Strong proficiency with digital accounting tools and systems
